Alongside my other projects I’ve been working on my collaboration with a Graphic Design student in rebranding Pilgrims Cheese. So far, I’ve created a set of patterns with oil pastel inspired by some of the textures of the Bayeux Tapestry and photoshopped them over the illustrations of the characters which my collaborator created. Ultimately I hope to try printing these textures onto fabric and sewing them together.
My year group have recently had a small exhibition in The Playhouse in Norwich and here are a few photos of the piece of work I displayed there: an oil pastel drawing of a bulbul bird.
Here are some images of my project so far with UEA student Connie Cubitt. The images aren’t necessarily the final images and are responses from workshops and my own ideas. At present themes of the text revolve much around isolation and depression but this could change.
