I knew I wanted to try drawing a nighttime scene for this week's @clr_collective but was stuck on what to do!

So I drew from a photo of my lovely daughter and then she kind of turned into a fairy! 💜 I'm super happy with the colours in this one! I drew it using my trusty @tombow_uk ABT brush pens, @carandache neocolour crayons and a touch of procreate and I'm so happy with the textures too!

I don't know if it's just me that does this, but my camera roll is basically a graveyard of reference photos I fully intend to draw from someday 😂

So here's me finally putting one to use! This one was taken in Edinburgh on a very lovely trip to Scotland a couple of years ago.

I used my @tombow_uk ABT Dual Brush Pens for this - one of my favourite materials for drawing on location. They’re so lightweight to carry around, and being water-based means there are lots of fun ways to layer and work with them! And there's so many shades!

Now I just need to actually make another trip to Scotland… 👀🏔️

A #ccheliotrope themed drawing for this week's @clr_collective challenge! I found this so hard but actually I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out! Another example of why this challenge is so good in encouraging you to experiment with colours you never usually would! 💜💜💜
